Entry Requirements to Study in UK

To gain admission into undergraduate programmes in the UK you’ll need:

  • Recognised Secondary School Qualifications – This includes Year 12 certificates from CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, and other national boards. Results expected: 60% or higher.
  • English Language Proficiency – IELTS score of 6.0 or higher with no band below 5.5. Other accepted tests are TOEFL, PTE, and Cambridge Assessment English Tests.

Entry criteria varies for postgraduate degrees in the UK. Usual requirements are:

  • A recognised undergraduate degree related to your postgrad course
  • Minimum 2:2 class or 60% aggregate scores in your UG degree
  • IELTS score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0
